Sceptre Investment Management is a UK-based investment manager specialising in systematic, long-only global equity strategies. We believe that managing large-cap global equities has become primarily a data science problem rather than a traditional analytical one, and our process reflects that.
Our partners
Sceptre is a partnership between Luke Howard Taylor and Murat Gunc, CFA, who worked together for more than a decade at Longview Partners. Luke, the firm's Managing Director, joined Sceptre in 2005 and was a partner at Longview; Murat was Longview's principal quantitative analyst and later its research data analytics lead. Together they bring over four decades of experience in global equity management, quantitative research and investment systems.
Our history
Sceptre was founded in 2005 by Chris Broadhurst. The original firm managed the Sceptre UK Fund until 2009. The business has since been re-established as a separate company focused on systematic global equities.
